I have been making something new!

Springtime is for showcasing flowers.

The garden is a pretty special place in our yard. The daffodils are out, and a bit chilled out by the recent April snow storms. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to watching those tiny buds on the Hortensias grow into giant blooms. Here is a closeup watercolor painting of one of those lovely blue and purple beauties. I painted this in honor of my Portuguese heritage. In Portuguese this flower, which we know as the Hydrangea, is called “Hortensia”. Enjoy the April showers!
